The case is waterproof to a depth of up to 1m for up to 30 minutes and offers a drop protection of 2m. The fully sealed case also ensures complete protection against dust and dirt and has an easily wipeable surface for antibacterial cleaning agents. Certified protection

IP68: The highest level of protection for a smartphone case in everyday use. The number 6 refers to dust and offers the highest level of protection against dust and other particles. The number 8 refers to water and offers the second highest level of protection against water ingress.

Mil SPEC 810G: This is a standard set by the US military that includes over 20 laboratory tests. The EIGER Avalanche Case is tested under these standards for water penetration with the 506.50 test for rain protection and the 512.5 test for immersion in water.
