The Proximity Sensor Flex Cable for iPad Pro 11" (1st generation) and iPad Pro 12.9" (3rd generation) is a replacement part designed to restore the function of the proximity sensor in your iPad. The proximity light sensor detects whether the iPad is close to your face to automatically switch the display on and off during calls or while you are on the phone. If this flex cable is damaged or defective, the proximity light sensor may no longer function properly.
